NEWS FROM ÜSKÜDAR CUMHURİYET TRADE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

In the frame of "Let us Elect, Let us Rule" activity which was developed in the scope of the revised elective course on "Democracy and Human Rights" members of the class council presented their wishes and proposals. The members of the class council which were elected by the votes of their class mates, brought all the wishes and suggestions together and they submitted these to our school principal Mr İzzet Vural. In the meeting, which lasted almost 2 hours, the principal listened to the wishes of the students and informed them about the possibility of realising their wishes and for those that are not feasible, he also explained why they cannot be implemented.

A delegation of representatives of the Council of Europe and the Board of Education, MoNE visited our school today.
The main aim of the visit was to increase the awareness level about the elective course on "Democracy and Human Rights" and about the Generation Democracy project. They were also
interested in communicating with our teachers to inform them about the curriculum and the activities and to exchange ideas.
